Youth books for adults

You may have heard of John Green and Shaun Tan but here is a list of lesser known, but equally good, youth authors that could have a wide readership of people of all ages.

Everyone knows his other novel, The Book Thief, but I am the Messenger is just as powerful and entertaining.
