Björn Jerdén är chef för Nationellt kunskapscentrum om Kina. Jerdén har en doktorsexamen i statsvetenskap från Stockholms universitet och en magisterexamen i internationella relationer från Malmö högskola. Han har gästforskat vid National Chengchi University, National Taiwan University, National Chengkung University och Harvard University. 2016–2020 var han chef för Asienprogrammet på Utrikespolitiska institutet.
